HANON x Umbro 'Carbon '92' Pack
For Summer ‘21, HANON and Umbro delve back into Scotland’s archive of football kits and present a special grayscale edition of an iconic jersey from the early ‘90s.
The original shirt was established during the '91-'93 period as part of Scotland's away kit, the original jersey was notably worn during the successful qualification for EURO '92 when the national team finished top of the group. Instantly recognisable by its distinctive chest graphic and vibrant colour pops, the shirt, combined with a loose fit and batwing sleeves evokes a spirit of '90s nostalgia and the essence of a decade steeped in football folklore.
Working alongside Umbro, we have recreated the jersey, imagined in a carbon grey colourway and featuring the same abstract pattern as the ‘90s edition. Whilst staying true to much of the original styling, we updated the shape and overall block to give a more regular fit. The top has a drop arm sleeve, ribbed collar, and internal placket with snap button closure.
As summer approaches and with EURO 2020 on the horizon, the ’92 jersey is teamed up with an Umbro Equipe Slider which is also executed in carbon grey and the same abstract pattern as the shirt.
The ‘Carbon 92’ Pack will be presented in a screen printed custom tote bag and released as a strict limited edition which will be launching exclusively at HANON via an ONLINE RAFFLE which will be live until Friday 28th May 12:00BST.
