HANON x Padmore & Barnes M244 Higgins
HANON and the Original Padmore & Barnes forge forth an enduring partnership as we collaborate on a limited edition pack of the Higgins leisure shoe.
Originally released as a boat-shoe inspired silhouette in 1978, the Higgins is a lesser-known model from the Padmore & Barnes family, but is instantly recognisable by their signature style of hand stitched uppers. Much like the Wallabee and Willow range, the shoe has a moccasin type construction with a refined and understated profile.
Our latest collaboration with Padmore introduces the Higgins in two colourways in a limited edition of 48 pairs per model. Each shoe, handcrafted in Portugal, is finished in the finest Italian leathers with a butter soft touch. The heavy-duty moccasin stitch is called out and contrasts on both styles whilst a plush calfskin leather is applied to the entirety of the lining. Additional features appear at the lacestay as the metal eyelets - a detail of the original shoe - are removed and the traditional crepe sole is substituted for a lightweight and durable TPR unit.
Dual branding is subtly applied on our edition of the Higgins via our flame logo debossed on opposing heels and featured as a logo lockup screened on each footbed. Both models come complete with two lace sets - one tonal and one contrasting and a hand numbered hangtag.
The HANON x Padmore & Barnes M244 Higgins will be launching exclusively at HANON via an ONLINE RAFFLE which will end on Friday 18th of December at 12:00GMT.
